Plain-language notes on what we collect (and don’t), how we use it, and your choices.

Scope

This Policy covers (1) the BoundMi desktop application; (2) optional AI endpoints you choose to configure; (3) the boundmi.com website.

Data you provide

• License activation: email + license key you enter in the app.
• Support: messages, logs, or screenshots you send us.
• AI requests (optional): images/prompts you submit to an endpoint for the sole purpose of returning results.

Data we generate automatically

• Device identifier: a short ID you set, used for license management.
• Diagnostics: crash/error codes if you choose to share for support.
• Website analytics: lightweight metrics to understand performance.

What we don’t collect

• No account required to use the app.
• No automatic uploads of project images or annotations.
• No ad trackers or third-party marketing pixels.

How we use data

• Activate/manage licenses and add-ons.
• Provide the AI results you requested (when you call the endpoint).
• Respond to support and improve reliability.
• Detect abuse and protect the service.

Retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed to provide the Software/Service or comply with law. Transient AI inputs are not retained beyond what’s necessary to serve the request and ensure service integrity, unless you opt in to share samples for debugging.

Sharing

We share data with service providers strictly as needed (e.g., payment and hosting) under contracts limiting use to the services they perform for us. We may disclose information if required by law.

International transfers

When data is processed outside your region, we use appropriate safeguards permitted by applicable law.

Your choices

• Use the app entirely offline.
• Request access, correction, or deletion by emailing support@boundmi.com.
• Deactivate a device license from within the app.

Children

BoundMi is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect such data.

Changes

We update this Policy as needed and change the effective date below. When changes are significant, we’ll post a notice.
